Manuscript Formatting Requirements and Submission Procedure
The editorial board accepts original articles on fundamental issues in the following main areas: theoretical substantiation of breeding and crop production of oil crops, methods of developing hybrids and varieties of oil crops, fundamentals of seed production of oil crops, technologies of cultivation, agricultural engineering and processing of oil crops, and economics of production and processing of oil crops. Materials of articles that have not been previously published are accepted.
The manuscript undergoes three stages of review: compliance with requirements, plagiarism checking, and external peer review. If the article does not meet the requirements, the editorial board reserves the right not to consider it and to inform the author.
The editorial board accepts articles for publication in English. The number of authors of one article must not exceed 10 persons. In one issue of the journal, no more than one article by the same author (or co-author) may be published.
The length of the article is from 10 to 20 printed pages.
To submit an article, please complete the form at the link.
The date of receipt of the manuscript is considered to be the date it is received by the editorial office. If a manuscript is submitted with violations of the requirements, the editorial board reserves the right not to accept it and will notify the authors.
The English version of the article is accepted only if it is professionally translated. If materials are translated using online translators (e.g., Google Translate), they will be rejected.
The editorial board informs authors that they bear full personal responsibility for incorrect borrowings or the use of other researchers’ results, as well as for compliance with scientific citation ethics.
Authors must ensure: originality of submitted articles, meaning the materials have not been published in other journals in any language; absence of plagiarism; proper citation of sources when using third-party works or texts; compliance with the journal’s policy on the use of artificial intelligence.
The journal uses the software StrikePlagiarism.com to detect plagiarism.
To prevent plagiarism, the editorial board applies the following measures: the article is checked for borrowed material from third-party works without proper references; during review, a conclusion is made regarding the presence or absence of plagiarism.
Plagiarism in all forms is unacceptable and is considered unethical behavior. Manuscripts submitted to the editorial board are checked for originality according to the following criteria: if the originality of the text exceeds 90%, the material is accepted for review; from 80% to 90% originality – the author must verify the correctness of citations and references; from 70% to 80% originality – the material is returned for revision with mandatory re-checking; less than 70% originality – the material is not accepted for consideration.
