Archiving and Long-Term Open Access Preservation Policy

General principles
 The Scientific and Technical Bulletin ensures perpetual preservation and integrity of all published materials since 2009. Our archiving strategy is based on the principles of Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which guarantee continuous availability of scientific content even in the event of cessation of the journal’s activities.
 Printed copies of the Scientific and Technical Bulletin are stored in the library of the Institute of Oilseed Crops of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and in central libraries of Ukraine, namely the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL), the Ivan Fedorov Book Chamber of Ukraine, and others.
Storage and archiving methods
 The journal applies a multi-level archiving system:
 - Internal archiving: all issues and articles are available in full-text format on the official website of the journal in the Issue Archive section. The specially designed platform ensures reliable content management and accessibility.
 - National deposition: electronic copies of each issue are transferred for storage to the collections of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine and other national scientific platforms.
 - International repositories: the editorial board facilitates the placement of published articles in international scientometric databases (CrossRef, Google Scholar, and others), as well as in thematic and institutional repositories.
Persistent identification (DOI)
 Each article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI), registered through the Crossref agency. This ensures link stability, reliable citation, and permanent access to the article regardless of changes in the domain name or website structure of the journal.
Technical reliability and data formats
 To ensure long-term accessibility and data compatibility, the editorial office:
 - stores articles in PDF format (primarily PDF/A), which is an international standard for long-term archiving of electronic documents;
 - performs regular backups of the website database and file storage to prevent data loss due to technical failures.
Authors’ archiving rights
 The publisher grants authors the right to store (deposit) the final version of the scientific article - the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) - in institutional or subject repositories. The materials are made available under open access conditions, which enhances their visibility, accessibility to the scientific community, and increases research impact.
