 | | Chekhova I. V. | The article analyzes the current state of varietal resources of redhead of domestic selection. It is established that over the past 10 years in Ukraine the area sown under redhead has decreased from 127 in 2012 to 71 hectares in 2014, the yield in experimental fields during 2017-2021 exceeds 2 t/ha. The calculation of the economic efficiency of growing redhead seeds based on 4 varieties is presented. Attention is focused on the fact that redhead seeds and spring rye oil are valuable food and medicinal products. A wide range of finished products based on redhead (oil, cake, seeds) occupies a small niche in the consumer market, is in stable demand among the population. The purpose of the article is to determine the prospects for the production of redhead seeds in Ukraine by analyzing the production, technological and economic aspects of its cultivation. Research methodology. Scientific generalization, classification, comparison, scientific abstraction, systematic and complex analysis. Research results. The prospects for the production of redhead wheat seeds in Ukraine are determined by analyzing the production, technological and economic aspects of its cultivation. The prospects for its cultivation are summarized taking into account technological and economic aspects. Elements of scientific novelty. It is substantiated that the prospect of increasing the production of redhead wheat is based on four diversified areas of seed production and processing of redhead wheat. | Citation: Chekhova, I. V.
