The editorial policy of the journal is to publish original research and review papers by authors from different countries covering a wide range of issues in agricultural, technical, and economic sciences, as well as interdisciplinary studies related to oilseed crops.
The aim of the scientific journal is to highlight the results of scientific research, present various viewpoints of scholars on global and current scientific issues, integrate Ukrainian agricultural science into the global scientific community, and analyze future prospects.
The objectives of the journal:
 - publication of scientific results aimed at expanding and modernizing research in the national economy, and implementing innovations in production;
 - establishment of partnership cooperation with foreign scientific publishing organizations;
 - improvement of the culture of peer review and annotation of published materials;
 - adherence to editorial ethics;
 - preparation of the journal for inclusion in international scientometric databases (Scopus, Web of Science).
 The journal publishes research materials by representatives of the modern national scientific elite, PhD students, master’s students, undergraduate students of higher education institutions, agricultural sector professionals, civil servants, as well as scientists from other countries.
The journal publishes materials in the following thematic areas:
 - theoretical foundations of breeding and cultivation of oilseed crops;
 - methods of creating hybrids and varieties of oilseed crops, fundamentals of seed production of oilseed crops;
 - technologies for growing oilseed crops;
 - agroengineering and processing of oilseed crops;
 - economics of production and processing of oilseed crops.
 The main criteria for selecting materials for publication are their compliance with the scope of the journal, novelty and relevance of ideas, and the scientific and factual reliability of the submitted material.
Publication of articles is free of charge.
Certificate of state registration: KV No. 16576-5048PR dated 23.04.2010.
 Based on the Orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, Category “B” in the fields of “Agricultural Sciences” (specialty “201 Agronomy”, No. 1188 dated 24.09.2020) and “Technical Sciences” (specialty “208 Agroengineering”, No. 320 dated 07.04.2022).
Published by decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Oilseed Crops of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
